Keeper of Still Waters
Placement: Thigh
A water spirit in the shape of a woman. Her hair is pinned up with kanzashi. Further down it comes loose and turns into waves and current.
She holds a stem with leaves between her lips. Large leaves and flowers close in around her face. Her gaze is sad but calm. It does not give away what she knows.
She keeps what was never said out loud. Memories you cannot let go of yet. Below her the water breaks, above it her face stays still. The whole design lives on that contrast.
Soft pencil shading meets deep black. As a tattoo she can stand for change, for remembrance, and for staying true to yourself while everything around you moves.
The composition is long and narrow. It sits best on the thigh and works just as well on the arm. Hair and water follow the body from top to bottom.
- Each design is tattooed exactly once and never given away again.
- The design is not billed separately — you pay for the work on skin alone.
