Keeper of the Wind
Placement: Arm
In this figure you can read a spirit of the wind that has taken the shape of a woman. The light movement of her fan wakes the air: leaves bend, fabric streams, and the clouds on the fan look ready to leave its surface.
She keeps the words people entrust to the wind — confessions, wishes, farewells. Her gaze is calm and her gesture unfinished, as though she were listening to one more story.
Soft shadow and deep black accents place her on the border between the human and the magical. As a tattoo she can stand for freedom, for change, and for handling carefully what you keep to yourself.
The composition suits an arm, a leg or the side of the body. The curves of the leaves and the folds of the kimono follow the natural lines of the body.
